Dr. Martin, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, has lived in Gainesville for most of his life and is proud to call it home. After completing his undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech in 1977, he received his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Returning to Arkansas for his radiology residency and fellowship at the University of Arkansas, Dr. Martin later joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 1985. A Fellow of the American College of Radiology, and a past-president and treasurer of the Georgia Radiological Society, Dr. Martin currently is a Councilor of the American College of Radiology, and sits on the ACR Radiology Standards Task Force and the ACR Legislative Action Task Force. Currently Dr. Martin serves as President of Gainesville Radiology Group, P.C. An avid tennis player himself, Dr. Martin is a benefactor of the Lakeview Academy tennis program which prides itself in providing tennis instruction and ‘core values’ to the children of the community. Dr. Martin and his wife reside in Gainesville with their three children. |

Dr. Baudin joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 1997. A native of Ocala, Florida, he completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Florida State University. After receiving his medical degree from the Universtiy of Florida in 1991, he went on to complete a diagnostic radiology residency and a two year Neuroradiology fellowship at Emory University, where he also served as chief resident. A member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, and the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, Dr. Baudin also holds the Subspecialty Certificate in Neuroradiology granted by the American Board of Radiology. Besides being proficient in all facets of neurologic imaging, Dr. Baudin also performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as selective nerve blocks, epidural steroid/anesthesia injections, and discography. He and his wife reside in Gainesville with their five children. |

Dr. Hooper joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 1998. A native of Gainesville, he completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at North Georgia College in 1988 and later received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1992. After finishing a rotating internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, he completed his diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia. He holds the Subspecialty Certificate in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American Board of Radiology and is certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Dr. Hooper performs all types of Interventional Radiology procedures but has a special interest in Uterine Fibroid Embolization, a new, minimally invasive procedure for women with fibroid tumors of the uterus. An Eagle Scout himself, he enjoys participating in the Boy Scout program with his son. Dr. Hooper and his wife reside in Gainesville with their son and two daughters. |

Dr. Kimball joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 1999. A native of Ohio, he completed his undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the Ohio State University, and later his medical degree at Wright State University of Medicine in Dayton. Following graduation, he finished a radiology residency at Canton Affiliated Hospitals in 1998, and later a Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1999. Dr. Kimball holds the Subspecialty Certificate in Neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology. He enjoys all aspects of magnetic resonance imaging in addition to his interest in neuroradiology. Dr. Kimball is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society, and carries the distinction of receiving his Eagle Scout award in 1984. Dr. Kimball lives in Gainesville with his wife and two sons. |

Dr. Julie Presley joined Gainesville Radiology Group in December 2002. A native
of Gainesville, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from North
Georgia College in 1992 and her medical degree from the Medical College of
Georgia in 1996. After completing a diagnostic radiology residency at the
University of Florida’s Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, she received
additional fellowship training in cross sectional imaging at the same
institution. She currently serves as our Director of Women’s Imaging
Services, and has a special interest in breast MRI, including MRI guided breast

Dr. Carroll joined Gainesville Radiology Group in July 2003 after completing an internship at Gundersen Lutheren Hospital, and a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of South Florida, Tampa. He completed his undergraduate work at State University of New York at Buffalo, receiving a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Carroll also holds a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a masters degree in Environmental Engineering. In addition, prior to his medical training he spent time in the Engineering and Contracting fields. A native of Illinois, Dr. Carroll and his wife reside in Gainesville with their two children. |

Dr. Chastain joined Gainesville Radiology Group in July 2004. A native of Jasper, Georgia, he completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1993 and later received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1998. After finishing an internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in 1999, he completed his diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Florida in 2004. A member of several professional Radiological societies, Dr. Chastain enjoys all aspects of MRI imaging of the musculoskeletal system and sports related injuries. Dr. Chastain lives in the Gainesville area with his wife, who is also a medical professional, and their two sons. |

Dr. Balotin joined Gainesville Radiology Group in October 2005. A native of upstate New York, he completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry at Brandeis University in Boston, later receiving his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1988. After completing his internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. in 1993, he served at Chief of Radiology at Fort Stewart, Georgia for over three years. During a six year private practice in Warner Robbins, Georgia, he developed a strong interest in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Balotin is a member of many professional societies including the American College of Radiology, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American Society of Emergency Radiology, and was honored as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha while a medical student. He and his wife, Dr. Ada Wang, also a radiologist, live in Braselton, with their two daughters. |

Dr. Stephen joined Gainesville Radiology Group in October 2005. A native of Waltham, Massachusetts he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Brandeis University in 1985, matriculating with High Honors. After receiving his medical degree from The University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1989, he went on to finish an internship at Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate, in 1990 and a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the same location in 1994. He received additional fellowship training in Body Imaging at Tufts New England Medical Center in 1995. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Stephen served as Chair of the department of Radiology at Houston Medical Center, Warner Robins, GA from 1997-2002, Vice Chair of Northlake Medical Center in 2004 and Vice Chair of Radiology at Atlanta Medical Center in 2005. He has special interests in CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and PACS. A member of many professional radiology societies, Dr. Stephen enjoys ice hockey and golf in his spare time, and has a special interest in inline marathon racing. |

Dr. Cory joined Gainesville Radiology Group in February 2006. A native of Florida, he graduated from Columbia College of Columbia University in 1984 with a major in English and Literature, then went on to complete a Doctorate in Medicine at the University of South Florida in 1988. Following a Transitional Internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York, Dr. Cory finished his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center in Jacksonville, Florida, where he served at Chief Resident. In 1994, he completed a Fellowship in Advanced Imaging at the University of South Florida, and later a Fellowship in Neuroradiology at the same institution in 1995. Dr. Cory is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology. Possessing an interest in the business side of medicine, he later earned a Master of Business Adminstration from the University of South Florida in 1996, and is also Board Certified by the American College of Managed Care Medicine. Dr. Cory enjoys participating in activities with his children and playing golf. |

Dr. Martin joined Gainesville Radiology Group in July 2006. A native of Florida, Dr. Martin was in solo private practice in Union, SC for six years. Prior to that he had been in practice in Swainsboro and Glenwood, Georgia. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of South Carolina in 1983 where he was a defensive lineman for the football team for four years. Thereafter he competed professionally with the Montreal Concordes Football Club for one year. He returned to the University of South Carolina serving as a Graduate Assistant Football Coach while completing additional studies prior to starting medical school. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Carolina in 1992. After completing a four year radiology residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville in 1996, he began his first practice at Emanuel Medical Center, Swainsboro, Georgia. Dr. Martin lives in Gainesville with his wife and four children. |

Dr. Black joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 2006. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, he completed his undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Tennessee in 1986. After earning his medical degree in 1990 from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis, he completed an internship in medicine and surgery in 1991 at Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He finished his radiology residency training at the same institution in 1995, and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Fellowship trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, he completed his training in 1996 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and also holds the subspecialty certificate in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American Board of Radiology. He is a member in good standing of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and the Society of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Black was previously in private practice radiology in Johnson City, Tennessee from 1996 - 1998, and Chattanooga, Tennessee from 1998 - 2006, active in interventional radiology at both locations. He has a special interest in kyphoplasty, a minimally invasive procedure for spinal compression fractures, other spine pain management procedures as well as uterine fibroid embolization. Dr. Kellermeyer joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 2008. A native of Ohio, he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Kenyon College, and later his dental and medical degrees at Case Western Reserve University. He interned at Mt. Sinai Hospital in the Department of Oral surgery and Dentistry. Core training in ENT and Oral Surgery were primary to his education which he enjoys to this date. He completed his radiology residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland and his fellowship in body imaging at Aultman Hospital. Dr. Kellermeyer has been in private practice for approximately ten years most recently as Chief and former President of Chesapeake Radiology in Virginia. Administrative responsibilities while at his past employment included medical executive committee, chair for the selection and implementation of PACS and integrated voice recognition. He is a past and present member of various medical, dental and radiological societies. Dr. Kellermeyer has also chaired and coordinated development of women’s imaging while at his former practice and lives in Gainesville with his wife and two sons. |

Drew Roush, PA-C joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 2005. A native of Cleveland, Ohio he completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Dayton in 1988. He later pursued his career path in medicine by receiving a graduate degree from the Physician Assistant Program at The Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Bowman Gray, in 2000. He focused his clinical rotations on surgical specialties – General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He further specialized his training via two preceptorships in Interventional Radiology. A member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Association of Vascular Access, Venous Access Society of the Americas, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and founder of the Society of Physician Assistants in Radiology. He brings five years of extensive Radiology experience to the Northeast Georgia medical community in clinical care and image guided diagnostic & interventional procedures. Mr. Roush specializes in all types of vascular access – especially hemodialysis access and arm / chest ports for oncology patients. He relocated here from Virginia to enjoy Lake Lanier and further advance his career with Gainesville Radiology Group. He and his wife reside in Gainesville with their two children. |

Chris Wallace, a native of Atlanta, GA, joined Gainesville Radiology Group in 2008 as the practice’s first Radiologist Assistant. He became registered as a radiologic technologist in 1998, while serving in the United States Army at Amedd Center and School, Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio. While stationed at Fort Lewis, Tacoma Washington, he worked as a radiologic technologist at Madigan Army Medical Center, and later Bassett Army Community Hospital at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska. Later, while a diagnostic and computed tomography technologist with Northeast Georgia Health System, Chris sought to further his education. He ultimately obtained his undergraduate degree in 2006 from Midwestern State in radiologic sciences, and graduated from radiologist assistant (RA) school in 2007. Chris has become proficient in fluoroscopic procedures, invasive nonvascular procedures, and various invasive vascular interventional procedures. He is associated with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), and the Georgia Society of Radiologic Technologists (GSRT). Chris resides in Gainesville with his wife and two daughters. |

Mr. Brownsey was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. He completed his bachelor of science degree in Business Administration at the University of Tennessee in 1992. With over fifteen years experience in healthcare management including positions at BlueCross-BlueShield of Tennessee and CIGNA, he currently is employed by Medical Management Professionals, now in his ninth year of service. Mr. Brownsey serves as acting CEO of Gainesville Radiology Group, P.C. via Medical Management Professionals, handling all billing and practice management functions. A member of the Radiology Business Managers Association and the Georgia Radiology Business Managers Association, Mr. Brownsey enjoys golfing in his free time, and spending time with friends and family. He, his wife and daughter look forward to moving to the Gainesville area in the near future. |
